These protectors include a replaceable puck or slider at the point of impact providing more material to grind through to further enhance the protection offered. The Engine Case Cover makes for an easy inexpensive fix in the event of a “minor” slide crash or drop. Only the “puck” needs to be replaced and the actual covering can be reused continually.
